Shortlisting for the inaugural volume of New Contexts was completed slightly ahead of schedule. A tremendous amount of re-reading was needed during this process! Currently there are 90 pieces (mainly but not exclusively poetry) that have been selected. Work is underway to combine all these into a first-cut draft manuscript. Once that is complete, an initial round of editing will take place:
- to correct typos
- to ensure formatting, fonts etc. are consistent
- potentially to suggest minor enhancements
Probably in a week or so, Authors will then be contacted for final approval of their contribution. Given a fair wind, the 1st January 2021 is still the goal for publication.
