In addition to the publication of “New Contexts: 1” on 1st January, Coverstory books is delighted to share news on the titles currently being planned for the first part of the new year.
Firstly, two debut collections from UK-based poets:
- “She Who Sings Is Not Always Happy“, by Julia Usman, a reflective collection of warm and subtle emotion-laden poems.
- “Joyriding Down Utopia Avenue“, by Simon French, a startlingly inventive and accomplished collection.
In addition, two works currently being drafted by Ian Gouge:
- “On Parliament Hill“, a novel about love, loss and redemption.
- “The Homelessness of a Child“, a partly autobiographical collection of poems laying bare the harsh reality of the poet’s difficult childhood.
We will keep you updated as to progress and publication dates for all of the above, so stay tuned!
