Submission is relatively straightforward. Based on the request(s) included in the Expression of Interest, we would then ask you to forward the relevant materials for our review.
Most often we will ask for electronic submission to an email address we will specify. Acceptable formats for the submission will be outlined, but are likely to include:
- .doc files (Microsoft Word)
- Pages format (Apple iOS)
- .rtf (Rich Text)
- .txt (Text Format)
Under certain circumstances, we may request that you send us some hard copy / printed material. If so we will let you know whether we would be able to return this to you or not; for safety’s sake, it makes sense for you to assume not i.e. never send us the sole master copy of anything! (Coverstory books will not be held liable for the loss of any material provided to us by a prospective author.)
We will then review your submission, hopefully within the timelines as set out in our Expression of Interest.
Following our review we will either respond to you declining the opportunity of progressing with your work – and, where possible, with reasons for so doing – or move on to an Acceptance in Principle.
