What a splendid hour we had at yesterday’s twentieth Contextual virtual poetry reading event. We had thirty-one attendees including our splendid readers:
Kate Swann, Thomas Larner, Jenna Plewes, Patty Cannon, Penny McCarthy, Janet Philo, Greta Ross, Caroline Matusiak, Charlotte Wilson, Zanna Beswick, Di Hills, Gillie Robic, Stephen Poole, Annemarie Cooper, Angela Ellis, Jonty Pennington-Twist, Carmina Masoliver, and Jane Turner.
We were treated to a huge variety of marvellously inventive poetry!
Our main reader for the October Contextual will be Pratibha Castle, who will be reading from her Poetry Book Society recommended collection, Miniskirts in The Wasteland (Hedgehog Poetry Press). Invitations to other readers will be going out in due course.
