Our most recent Contextual was held yesterday, Thursday 30th May, when we kicked-off the session with a collaborative piece – a “Haiku Chain” – written by six of our poets:

In the second half of the session we had an ‘Open Mic’, and it was great to welcome some new readers – and from across the globe too!
With that in mind, I’d like to see if we can make Contextual: 28 an International event. Reading slots will be open to a) anyone living outside of the UK (including UK nationals), and b) non-UK nationals who are living in the UK on a temporary basis (e.g. to study). The Zoom event will be held on Thursday 27th June @ 19:30-20:30 UK-time.
