The submission window for the sixth edition of our New Contexts poetry and short prose anthologies will open on 1st October and run until 31st December. New Contexts: 6 will publish by the end of March 2024.
Once again entries will be managed via Submittable (it simplifies administration so much!), and so for New Contexts: 6 I am returning to a small fee for entry but with a physical complimentary copy of the book to the writers who appear in it.
Also, for this new volume I am allowing four entries per person (up from three previously). As well as increasing the limit of prose submissions per person from one to two, the number of poems which can be submitted is also increased from two to three. So you could choose to submit three poems and one piece of prose, or two poems and two pieces of prose, or just one poem etc. (but not four poems nor three or four pieces of prose)
